Nanny Will Not Be Jailed: Details on the Criminal Case of Child Abuse in a Kindergarten
A nanny accused of child abuse in one of the kindergartens in Yerevan will not be jailed, as the court has deemed the request for detention unlawful. This information was confirmed by Vardan Tadevosyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, in a conversation with Auroranews.
“A request was made to the court, but the court found the request for the nanny’s detention to be unlawful and applied a measure preventing her from fleeing,” Tadevosyan stated.
Recall that Aravot.am reported that A. H. had informed the police on January 31st that from March 2019 to October 14, 2021, her daughter, E. U., had attended one of the kindergartens in Yerevan, where nannies R. G. and S. K., along with educators I. A. and A. K., subjected her to torture through the other children, considering the fact that the child’s father is Pakistani.
It has been noted that they bound her hands and neck with a rope and burned her chest with a hot iron toy, forced her to eat dirt, grass, and feces, causing her physical pain and mental suffering.
