Russian Defense Ministry on Peacekeepers' Activities

Russian peacekeepers have ensured the safe passage of more than 2,500 vehicles and approximately 6,000 individuals into and out of Nagorno-Karabakh over the past week, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The troops are monitoring the situation around the clock and maintaining the ceasefire regime along the entire line of demarcation in Nagorno-Karabakh and at all 27 observation posts along the Lachin corridor.

Dmitry Lichkin, a representative of the Russian peacekeeping forces, detailed that all vehicles are subjected to inspections to prevent potential provocations and undergo thorough checks when necessary.

All observation posts of the Russian peacekeeping contingent are equipped with fortified structures designed to protect military personnel from small arms and shrapnel while also conducting surveillance over the surrounding area.
