Officials Refused to Appear: Aram Vardevanyan

Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, has issued a statement: 'Dear compatriots, I would like to inform you that on October 25, 2021, a parliamentary investigative committee was established, focusing on the disgraceful problems of the judicial system that continue to this day. During this period, I invited the Acting President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Gagik Jhangiryan, and the Minister of Justice, Karen Andreasyan, to provide information to the investigative committee. Instead of answering extremely important questions regarding the committee's activities, these officials simply refused to appear.

Given this, and considering the new chain of attacks on the judicial system, I, as the chairman of the investigative committee, publicly invite the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan, to respond to the questions of the investigative committee. Should there be a positive response to the invitation, I express my willingness to determine a mutually acceptable date and time for this.'
