Ministry Announces Guidelines for Financial Support for Third and Subsequent Children

Starting from January 1, 2022, applications for the 50,000 dram support program for the third and subsequent children born after this date are accepted both in-person and online, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

To submit an electronic application on the Unified Social Service website, it is necessary to click here or visit www.socservice.am, select the "Online Applications" section under "Social Security: Online Applications," and then choose the sub-section "Submit Application for Financial Support for the 3rd and Subsequent Child." In the pop-up window, you need to fill in the relevant information available on your identity document.

Applications can also be submitted in-person by presenting the required documents at the regional center of the Unified Social Service.

It is important to note that for the third and subsequent children born after January 1, 2022, a monthly support of 50,000 dram is provided until the child reaches the age of 6.

The financial support is granted if the following conditions are met:

• The parent applying for support is a citizen of the Republic of Armenia,
• As of the application date, the parent and the newborn child are located in the Republic of Armenia,
• As of the application date, the parent, the newborn child, and children considered for determining the classification of the newborn are registered in the state population register of the Republic of Armenia.
