Holding Prisoners for So Long is Nothing but a War Crime: Tatoyan

“Humanitarian calls are a facade for the outside world, because the actual situation is entirely different. No Azerbaijani serviceman who has committed any crime against our compatriots has been held accountable for their actions after, before, or during the war,” said Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan in his urgent report today.

“We must constantly present these facts to the outside world, because the Azerbaijani authorities are themselves organizing extensive campaigns, exerting pressure, and placing the responsibility on us,” Tatoyan noted, adding that we must show the world that we are dealing with new war crimes, as holding our prisoners for so long is nothing but a war crime.
