Shushi Has Been a Foreign City for Armenians: Aliyev Lies Again

During a youth conference held in Baku, Aliyev spoke about Shushi, stating: "Shushi has been a foreign city for Armenians. If it was an Armenian city, why is it in such a deplorable state? Why have all the springs dried up?" He claimed that before falling under their control, only 1,500 people lived in Shushi, stating, "90 percent were military personnel with their families. If it was an Armenian city, why didn't more people live there? Why was it in that condition, and why was it destroyed over the years?"
