Russian Fighters Conduct Flights in Armenia
Personnel of the fighter aviation of the Southern Military District have carried out training flights with MiG-29 and Su-30SM fighter jets from the Erebuni airbase. The information was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District of Russia.
“The crews have performed combat training tasks with complex piloting elements under challenging weather conditions,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the servicemen practiced emergency landing maneuvers with a single-engine failure, as well as in conditions of limited visibility utilizing aerosol and smoke cover, in scenarios involving partial runway damage due to aviation strikes by a hypothetical adversary. More than 10 aircraft participated in the exercises.
