Pashinyan Discussed Territory Transfer on September 27, Everyone Yelled 'No' from Their Seats: Gevorg Papoyan

“Let’s remember that Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the possibility of transferring territories even on September 27 in the National Assembly, and that day all or most of the deputies were yelling ‘no, war’ from their seats,” noted Gevorg Papoyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract party, in an interview with Factor.am, referring to the criticisms aimed at the current authorities regarding the war.

“Moreover, not a single voice from the opposition circles, including Robert Kocharyan or Serzh Sargsyan, or their satellites or media, suggested that perhaps we should try to stop the war even at the cost of ceding territories,” he added.

“In other words, we did not propose such an intention, but rather we put forward such a thesis,” he emphasized.
