Judge Boris Bakhshiyan's Powers Suspended
The powers of Boris Bakhshiyan, a judge at the General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik Province, have been suspended. This information comes from the decisions of the Supreme Judicial Council.
“To suspend the powers of Boris Hrant Bakhshiyan, judge of the first instance general jurisdiction court of Syunik province, until the completion of the proceedings in the criminal case initiated against him,” stated the decision of the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Gagik Jhangiryan.
It is worth noting that yesterday, the Supreme Judicial Council approved requests from the RA Prosecutor General to initiate criminal prosecution against Judge Bakhshiyan and to deprive him of his freedom.
