The clarification states: "To avoid misunderstandings and various speculations, the Cadastre Committee of the Republic of Armenia finds it necessary to clarify certain information contained in the recent article titled 'Alen Simonian Continues to Hide Property in His Declarations' published by the Fact-Checking Platform.
We announce that the apartment at 62 Abovyan Street, Building 6, in Yerevan, owned by Alen Robert Simonian, was transferred on March 21, 2016, under agreement number 859. Following this, the mentioned agreement was submitted to the Cadastre Committee for state registration of rights, and on March 25, 2016, the rights arising from that agreement were state-registered. The ownership right of Armenuhy Pashabezyan was registered, and Alen Robert Simonian’s rights to the specified address ceased.
Regarding the certificate issued by the Cadastre Committee on October 6, 2021, concerning the 'Existence and Composition of Property Rights,' we inform you that the information regarding the existence of rights registered in the name of Alen Robert Simonian for the apartment at 62 Abovyan Street, Building 6, is a clerical error caused by technical issues in the 'Property Information System of Armenia' implemented in 2012 at the Cadastre Committee.
The Cadastre Committee regularly corrects past technical issues in the aforementioned electronic system and consistently improves and develops the system."
