The Fate of Artsakh Depends on Our Unity: David Babayan

The disbandment of the Artsakh Defense Army has only one mobilization left. Today, news with such a headline was circulated in Armenian media. It is noteworthy that in recent times, we have encountered other articles that create similar pessimistic sentiments. These theses are sometimes actively circulated and cause concern among segments of the public.

Auroranews contacted Artsakh’s Foreign Minister David Babayan to understand his views on the circulating news and the apprehensions present in some parts of society. Babayan noted that he cannot comment on information related to the army, as that should be addressed by the Defense Army itself. However, he clearly stated that the fate of Artsakh depends on our unity.

“Unity, solidarity, patriotism, and professionalism are the components and qualities we must adhere to in order to move forward. Our security has various components, but it largely depends on the right geopolitical strategy and the establishment of a professional army,” emphasized David Babayan.
