FlyOne Armenia to Launch First Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan Flight

FlyOne Armenia airline is ready to conduct its inaugural flight on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route, scheduled for February 2. All preparations have been completed, and health safety measures have been taken into account.

There is significant interest in the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan flights. In an interview with Armenpress, Aram Ananyan, the chairman of the board of FlyOne Armenia, mentioned that the current activity level surrounding the flight aligns with the company’s initial forecasts.

“We prioritize the restoration of air communication on the basis of reciprocity. As we have previously noted, this is a great opportunity to strengthen the ties between the Istanbul Armenian community and the Motherland,” said Aram Ananyan.

The airline is focusing on health safety measures. Wearing masks on the aircraft will be mandatory. The planes are equipped with HEPA air filters that eliminate 99.97% of viruses and bacteria. Aram Ananyan emphasized that the health and safety of passengers are their top priorities.

Initially, two weekly flights are planned on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route, scheduled for Mondays and Fridays. In the near future, the airline intends to increase the frequency to three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
