Azerbaijani Armed Forces Reform Inspired by Turkish Army, Says Hasanov

The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, has announced that reforms are being implemented in the structure of the country's armed forces. Azerbaijani media report this development.

During a press conference in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar, Hasanov mentioned that the ongoing changes are similar to those implemented in the Turkish army.

“By the directive of the President of Azerbaijan, reforms in the structure of the armed forces are being carried out similar to those made in the Turkish army. Turkey is providing significant support to Azerbaijan in this direction,” said Hasanov.
