Home of Journalist Robbed in Charentsavan, Significant Damage Caused

Materials are being prepared by the Charentsavan Investigative Division of the Kotayk Regional Investigative Committee regarding the report made to the Charentsavan police department on January 23 by 33-year-old Vahe Makaryan, a resident of Charentsavan city.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on that day, Makaryan informed the Charentsavan police that during the period from January 20 to January 22, an unknown individual had stolen various amounts of foreign currency and a gold chain with a pendant from his home under unknown circumstances.

According to G. Shamshyan’s information, V. Makaryan is a journalist for the “Hraparak” newspaper, and he has suffered damages amounting to approximately 750,000 AMD.
