Video: World No. 2 Medvedev Reaches Final
World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev has advanced to the final of the Australian Open. The Russian tennis player competed against the fourth seed, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, and won with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 4:6, 6:4, 6:1. The match lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes.
In the final, Medvedev will face 20-time Grand Slam winner, former world No. 1, Spanish Rafael Nadal. The sixth seed defeated seventh seed, Italian Matteo Berrettini, in the semifinals. Nadal has won the Australian Open title once before.
Medvedev reached the final last year as well but lost to world No. 1, Serbian Novak Djokovic.
