Serzh Sargsyan's Call from Sardarapat

The bells of the Sardarapat Memorial will announce news of a new victory, and that victory will be carried by the glorious Armenian army. This was stated by the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, in his message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces, as reported by the official website of the third president.

“On this day, marking the anniversary of our army that has achieved glorious victories over the past three decades and has experienced a heavy defeat under the command of treasonous and cowardly leaders in the last war, I call from this victorious place to heed the counsel of Sardarapat and to be worthy of the memory of our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland in all times. I believe in the renaissance of the Armenian state, the wisdom of the Armenian people, and the unstoppable victorious march,” Sargsyan emphasized.

The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, visited the Sardarapat Battle Memorial on the occasion of the Army Day. He laid a wreath at the monument commemorating the heroes of the Battle of Sardarapat and paid tribute to them.

It is noted that a wreath was also laid in the morning on behalf of the third president in Yerablur, at the wall commemorating the devoted sons who contributed greatly to the formation and construction of the Armenian army and the brave warriors who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of the homeland.

Today, January 28, marks the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian army.
