Today we have an army that will become the one left to us by Vazgen Sargsyan by fulfilling the tasks set before it. This was stated today, on January 28, Army Day, during a conversation with reporters at the Yerablur Pantheon by Andranik Kocharyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee.

“But for that, we all need to unite our goals and emerge from the situation that led to failures and defeats in the 44-day war. Therefore, what is mentioned in the government program must be made a reality – to build an army that should be equipped with modern armaments, intellectual capabilities, and be invulnerable in terms of fulfilling the tasks set before it,” he said.
