Samvel Karapetian and Azerbaijani Entrepreneur: The 'Kings' of the Russian Real Estate Market

Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetian's 'Tashir' and Azerbaijani entrepreneur God Nisanov's 'Kievskaya Ploshchad' companies represent the two largest players in the Russian real estate market. This has been reported by Forbes.

According to Forbes, 'The largest income from the real estate market in 2021 was acquired by God Nisanov and Zakhar Ilyev’s 'Kievskaya Ploshchad' group, with a profit of $1.67 billion during that year. In second place is Samvel Karapetian's 'Tashir' group, with a profit of $615 million during the same period.'

It is worth noting that God Nisanov owns the largest shopping center 'Food City', which refused to allow the sale of Armenian agricultural products after the clashes in Tavush in July 2020. Nisanov also provided significant assistance to Azerbaijan during the third war in Artsakh.
