VIDEO. I Advise You Not to Come to the Session if You Have Used Alcohol, Sisak Gabrielyan to Ruben Hakobyan

This was not an intentional action by Ruben Hakobyan, but rather a demonstration of his lifestyle, manner, daily routine, and behavior in a live broadcast. This was stated by Sisak Gabrielyan, the chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Science, Education and Culture, in an interview with reporters. He added that there had been conflict situations during the previous two sessions as well, but the sessions were postponed as he tried to calm the tensions, while today, after his advice, Ruben Hakobyan continued to utter insults during his concluding speech.

“There was nothing left to do but interrupt. For all members of the committee, I can confidently say that this candidate's vocabulary and behavior were absolutely unacceptable, even for opposition MPs,” he noted.

According to Sisak Gabrielyan, the MPs of the “Armenia” faction did not respond in any way to the statements made by the ruling party's MPs regarding Ruben Hakobyan. “Moreover, I had the impression that they, too, internally agreed that yet again, if I try to express myself gently, it at least deals a blow to their small legitimacy. I don't mean small in a bad sense, considering the ratio in the National Assembly. This will be a good opportunity for the opposition to understand that when talking about the role of the National Assembly and the establishment of this institution, they should think about who they bring in and propose as candidates to a constitutional body. You know, using alcohol and expressing oneself with a sloppy vocabulary only strikes back at the opposition,” he emphasized.
