Life in Greece has come to a standstill due to heavy snowfall. According to international news reports, some areas have been left without electricity, prompting the dispatch of firefighters, police, and military personnel to assist municipal services.

Traffic jams spanning several kilometers have formed on the roads, as nearly all vehicles are equipped with summer tires. A decision has been made to close kindergartens and schools in Greece, with only grocery stores and pharmacies permitted to operate.

Meteorologists indicate that the severe weather conditions are expected to persist until Wednesday.
