Police Discover Marijuana in a Resident's Car in Kasakh
On January 19, at approximately 16:30, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police apprehended a 24-year-old resident of Kasakh village in the Kotayk region, while he was in a "VAZ-2121" model vehicle near the Hrazdan Gorge, as reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
During a personal search, officers found a greenish substance and syringes, while more than 300 grams of a substance resembling marijuana was discovered in the vehicle's interior.
According to the source, a forensic chemical examination has been ordered, and materials regarding the incident are being prepared. The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia with a legally binding court judgment.
