North Korea Fires Two Cruise Missiles Toward the Japanese Sea

The Republic of Korea (South Korea) has announced that North Korea has allegedly fired two cruise missiles toward the Japanese Sea. This was reported on Tuesday by the Yonhap news agency, citing military sources.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea is currently analyzing the characteristics of these missiles. Previously, the DPRK has conducted four launches since the beginning of the year, with the latest occurring on January 17. At that time, South Korean military officials reported that two ballistic missiles flew approximately 380 km toward the Japanese Sea, reaching a maximum altitude of 42 km.
