Arush Arushanyan is a political prisoner, and I am willing to prove this to the newly elected Ombudsperson in any format he prefers, face to face. This was stated by Eric Aleksanyan, the lawyer of Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan, on his Facebook page.

In response to the question from Anna Grigoryan, a member of the 'Armenia' parliamentary faction, during the National Assembly session about whether there are political prisoners in Armenia, the Ombudsperson candidate replied that there are no political prisoners in Armenia.

“Arush Arushanyan is a political prisoner, and I am ready to prove it to the Ombudsperson candidate in any format he prefers,” Aleksanyan wrote.
