Ukrainian Saboteurs Have Kidnapped a Lugansk Defense Administration Employee from the Donbass Contact Line

The official representative of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic People's Militia, Ivan Filiponenko, has reported that Ukrainian saboteurs have kidnapped an employee of their defense administration from the Donbass contact line.

On January 22, a sabotage group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces kidnapped a serviceman of the LPR people's police while patrolling an area near the Svetlodarsk hill, Filiponenko told journalists.

According to the representative of the people's militia, it was revealed during the investigation that the serviceman had transmitted a message via radio about suspicious activities in a wooded area and, without awaiting reinforcement, went to check the area.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that Kyiv is not fulfilling the Minsk agreements and is prolonging negotiations for conflict resolution. The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Kyiv has sent half of the entire personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Donbass. Moscow has also expressed concern over the transportation of military equipment from NATO countries to Russian borders and the increasing number of Western instructors in Donbass. Western countries continue to provide military support to Ukraine, including supplying weapons to Donbass.
