Azerbaijani Company Responds to Reports of Purchasing a Plant in Surenavan

The Azerbaijani SOCAR company has denied reports regarding negotiations to purchase a bitumen plant in Armenia. This was reported by the Trend agency, citing an official representative of the company. They stated that they have no interest in Armenia.

Earlier, media had reported that the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR was in talks to buy a plant in Surenavan with the assistance of Georgian intermediaries.
