Warning to All: Generalizations Regarding Journalists' Work are Harmful, Says Arman Tatoyan

I want to warn all officials that generalizations regarding journalists' work not only increase stereotypes about journalists' work but are also harmful to the country's democratic and human rights systems. This statement was made by the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan during a press conference.

“Everyone should keep this in mind, especially officials,” said the Ombudsman. Arman Tatoyan also announced that a special report regarding the rights of journalists will be published soon.

It is noteworthy that during the National Assembly session on January 20, a member of the Civil Contract faction, Vahagn Aleksanyan, insulted the journalistic community in his speech, referring to them as "verbal prostitutes."
