Who is the Newly Appointed Head of the Tourism Committee? Details

It has already been reported that Sisian Poghosyan has been appointed as the head of the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

Sisian Poghosyan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, specializing in Marketing and Organizational Behavior. Throughout his 15-year career, Sisian has primarily worked in the consumer electronics sector, focusing on product management and marketing.

In 2019, he left his job in Canada to travel and work in Armenia through the Birthright Armenia program. He has also worked at the American University of Armenia (AUA) and the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA).

For the last two years, he has been in Toronto as an entrepreneur and decided to return to Armenia as part of the “iGorts” program to continue contributing his skills to the Tourism Committee.

As he takes on the role of the head of the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy, Sisian is ready to make efforts to place Armenia on the world tourism map by showcasing the country’s beauty, uniqueness, and attractiveness.
