Kremlin Responds to Biden's Threats Against Russia
Statements threatening the Russian Federation, claiming that Moscow must pay a price for certain hypothetical actions, are being made with enviable confidence, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.
Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has never seen sanctions prepared by the U.S. in response to the escalation of the situation around Ukraine. He noted that in the event of an escalation, Russian banks would not be able to conduct transactions in dollars.
“Every day, statements are made threatening Russia and warning that it must pay a high price for certain hypothetical actions. These come from the intermediate expert level up to the highest level of state leadership. They have repeatedly responded to such statements. I don’t think we need to continue commenting, as the statements are actually repetitive,” Peskov said.
