Video: The Mine Operates Around the Clock, Local Residents Have No Day or Night
Human rights defender Nina Karapetyan posted: “Local residents have no day or night because the mine operates around the clock. While the noise may be somewhat bearable during the daytime (although, in reality, it isn’t), at night it drives people up the mountains to madness. The local residents avoid signing any nominal complaints or petitions. The question is: why? The answer is: because they feel defenseless.
Because for the citizen of Armenia, the only supreme value in the Constitution is the ‘Serj’s suit’, while in real life, they are nothing more than tax payers, material for fines, material to be sacrificed, material to be taken hostage, and later branded as ‘traitors’. In summary, they are material, but not valuable.”
