Details of Major Accident: 2 of 6 Injured Are Children

On January 18, a significant car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 11:00 PM, a collision took place on Ararat Street in the city of Masis between a ВАЗ 2106 vehicle driven by 35-year-old Vahan H. from the village of Aigepat and a Mitsubishi Colt driven by 28-year-old Tigran S. from the city of Masis.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the drivers, as well as Vahan H.'s passenger, 28-year-old Lianna H. from Aigepat, and Tigran S.'s passengers, 27-year-old Zhenya I., and 5-year-old children Anna I. and Arthur S., were transported to medical centers—some to the "Erebuni" Medical Center, and others to the "Saint Astvatsatsin" Medical Center.

A firefighting team from unit 25 of the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service in the Ararat region arrived at the scene. The first responders were citizens and the on-duty medical team from the Masis hospital who arrived promptly to assist the injured.
