Video: Man Who Assaulted Pregnant Employee of Haypost Arrested
On January 10, around 4 PM, a man entered the Haypost branch on Yervand Kochary street in the capital and claimed he wanted to receive a package sent from abroad in his name.
The police reported that after checking, the Haypost employee informed the man that there was no package under his name. Following this, the man grossly violated public order, shouted insults for an extended period, assaulted the pregnant Haypost employee, and damaged the branch's property.
One of the witnesses called the police. Operational-investigative teams arrived at the scene and clarified the circumstances of the incident. A criminal case was initiated on charges of hooliganism.
Officers from the Central Police Department's Marash Division quickly identified the man and initiated measures to locate him. On January 14, Marash police found the 39-year-old man and took him into custody. He was presented to the investigating body handling the case, was arrested, and then detained.
The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
