On January 8, investigators from the Goris police department received operational information that a 35-year-old man had shot at and damaged a "BMW" parked in the yard of a building on Mashtots Street in Goris.
This was reported by the Armenian police. "Thanks to explanatory work, on January 17, the 35-year-old man presented himself to the Goris police department and stated that due to personal issues with the owner of the 'BMW', and being certain that he or others were not in the vehicle, he fired several times from a smoothbore hunting rifle registered in his name, intending to damage the vehicle. He also presented the firearm used in the crime. The circumstances are being clarified, and an investigation is underway," the statement said.
