Lewandowski Comments on Messi's Decision Not to Vote for Him

Robert Lewandowski, the Bayern Munich forward, has commented on Lionel Messi's voting decision for the FIFA Player of the Year award. The Argentine did not include Lewandowski in his top three and instead voted for Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Karim Benzema.

“If you remember what he said after the Ballon d'Or ceremony. Those were beautiful words; it was nice to hear from him. They were just words. As for his voting, you should ask him. That’s his decision, and I have to respect it. I shouldn’t be angry with him,” Lewandowski told Bayern & Germany.

This marks Lewandowski's second consecutive FIFA Best Men's Player award victory.
