Fight in Parakar Ends with Stabbing

The investigation into a criminal case initiated for deliberately causing serious harm to the health of a 38-year-old resident of Ararat Province has concluded at the Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

It was established during the investigation that on December 3, 2020, around 5:30 PM, during a dispute that broke out between a group of individuals in the rear area of a banquet hall located in the village of Parakar, a 26-year-old man inflicted random stab wounds with a knife on various parts of the body of the 38-year-old resident of Ararat Province, causing life-threatening serious harm.

Based on the sufficient combination of evidence obtained, the 26-year-old was charged under the first part of Article 112 of the RA Criminal Code.

The investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
