Photos: Who Was the Photographer? Why Did the 'Armenia' Alliance's Photoshoot Cost $100,000?
In the summer, ahead of the parliamentary elections, the 'Armenia' alliance published a significant photoshoot featuring representatives of the political force with a black and white filter. This photoshoot generated much discussion and received mixed reactions from the public. Many criticized it, pointing out that it promoted the opposition's narrative of 'blacks and whites.' Additionally, this 'elitist' photoshoot instilled fear among the public, with the white shirts triggering negative associations and reinforcing the belief that officials in starch-white shirts were returning to steal from the people again.
According to ArmDaily.am sources, the British supermodel Naomi Campbell's photographer was invited to Armenia for this photoshoot. He was found through the connections of Robert Kocharian’s junior daughter-in-law, singer Sirusho. Sources mentioned that over $100,000 was spent on this photoshoot.
We tried to verify this information with 'Armenia' alliance MP Agnesa Khmoyan, who stated that she did not possess such information. 'It was during the campaign, and everything happened very quickly. It lasted about 10 minutes,' said Khmoyan.
When asked if the photographer spoke Armenian, Khmoyan replied that she did not take note of that.
