Assault on Employee: Police Investigation

On January 13, a report was received at the Central Police Department regarding the assault of a woman at one of the addresses on Grigor Lusavorich Street. Upon arrival at the scene, the responding officers were informed by the victim that a 44-year-old man had assaulted her at 20:50 and damaged office property.

At 22:00, the 44-year-old man was located and taken to the Central Police Department, where he directed insults at the officers and disrupted the normal operation of the department for an extended period. A criminal case has been initiated against him at the Central Police Department under Article 119 (Causing severe physical pain or severe mental suffering) and Article 258 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The 44-year-old man has been presented to the territorial investigative department and arrested. An investigation is underway.
