Ruben Rubinyan: "ARF signed a cooperation document with the Young Turks before the Genocide"

In response to the remarks made by members of the "Armenia" faction regarding "agents of Turkish influence," Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan stated, "How can it be, for instance, that a faction whose members are from the ARF party, which, for example, signed a cooperation document with the 'Ittihad ve Terakki' Young Turk force before the Genocide..."

From the audience, a reaction came from ARF members, to which Rubinyan urged not to interfere: "Coming to our days, let’s remember: a force that has been in coalition with Kocharyan, under whom secret negotiations took place between Armenia and Turkey... What I am pointing out, I am not giving any valuation. Now, if I try to stick historical facts together in different ways each time and say, 'So, is the ARF a force of Turkish influence?', it would become a meaningless conversation... Everyone in this National Assembly has turned into an overt agent, calling each other Turkish catchers, traitors... where are we heading like this?"
