Ukrainian National Guard Arrests Two Azerbaijanis in Donbas

The Ukrainian National Guard has arrested two Azerbaijani nationals near the line of demarcation in Donbas, as reported by the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs on January 16, according to RIA Novosti.

"At a checkpoint in the Luhansk region, one kilometer away from the line of demarcation, National Guard fighters detained two citizens of Azerbaijan. After verification, National Guard employees discovered that one of them had overstayed his stay until January 10, while the other was illegally present on Ukrainian territory. It was also found that the men had previously served time in prison," the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated in its report.
