Tsunami Strikes Japan's Shores
Due to the threat of a tsunami in Japan, an evacuation order has been issued for at least 210,000 residents. This was reported by the Kyodo news agency. The relevant notice pertains to residents of the northeastern prefectures located along the Pacific coast.
As a result of the volcanic eruption in the Polynesian state of Tonga, a tsunami has struck the shores of Japan. Furthermore, 27 domestic flights have been canceled in the area potentially affected by the natural disaster.
