When Will the Captured Resident of Berdzor Be Returned? New Details

The 69-year-old resident of Berdzor, who was captured and is currently being held by the Azerbaijani side, has not yet been returned; however, an agreement has been made for his return during the day. This information was provided to NEWS.am by the Mayor of Berdzor, Narek Aleksanyan.

“Negotiations are underway with the mediation of peacekeepers, and there is an agreement that the citizen will be returned today,” he said.

He noted that before the war, the citizen lived in the village of Ghazarapatt, which has come under Azerbaijani control. Earlier, the National Security Service of Artsakh reported that on January 14, at 15:00, the 69-year-old resident Andranik Hranti Aleksanyan found himself in an area controlled by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and was detained by them.
