We Are Not Taking Things Seriously, We Are Not Sobering Up, and As a Result, We Are Losing and Losing – Ghazinyan

Arthur Ghazinyan, a member of the 'Hayastan' faction, has written on his Facebook page:

“Through various empty and senseless ‘sensations’, we are once again being diverted from very dangerous processes. An inter-agency commission is being established regarding the delineation of borders with Azerbaijan, as a result of which we will be forced to recognize Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and forget about Artsakh. Or the normalization of relations with Turkey, which will again force us to abandon the pan-Armenian demand for international recognition of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and all national goals for the restoration of historic Armenia. While we are neglecting these existential issues, we, as a nation, are discussing the height of the statue of Jesus, the empty face of winning at the mathematics Olympiad, and the number of guests and the scale of the party at the rulers' weddings. What more catastrophe needs to happen to us for us to understand the real dangers threatening us, to be able to distinguish the important from the foolish, substance from emptiness? We are not taking things seriously, we are not sobering up, and as a result, we are losing and losing...”
