US Response to Armenia-Turkey Dialogue

The special envoys of Armenia and Turkey have met in Moscow to discuss the future of Armenian-Turkish relations. The US and the international community are responding to this process. “We warmly welcome the Armenia-Turkey dialogue and the involvement of both countries in diplomacy and dialogue to resolve existing differences,” declared the US State Department in response to a question from the Armenian service of Voice of America regarding the ongoing dialogue between Armenia and Turkey and Washington's stance on this matter.

It is noteworthy that on January 14, a meeting took place in Moscow between the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kilic, aimed at normalizing relations between the two countries.
