Aliyev and Zelensky Discuss Prospects for Creating a Transport Corridor
The Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Volodymyr Zelensky and Ilham Aliyev, discussed the prospects for creating a transport corridor that connects the countries of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova, GUAM) during their meeting in Kyiv on Friday.
“We will continue to work together on several prospective avenues. This also pertains to the creation of a transport corridor, likely within the GUAM framework, which unites Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Moldova,” Zelensky stated during a press conference following the talks, as reported by the TASS news agency.
Aliyev, for his part, declared Azerbaijan's readiness to cooperate with Ukraine in all areas during his meeting with Zelensky.
