Younger Brother Kills 40-Year-Old Man in Kosh Village

A 40-year-old man was killed by his younger brother in the village of Kosh, Ararat Province. The incident occurred yesterday, January 12, according to the police.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police were informed by the brother that he had discovered his sibling in the living room and had called the emergency services (1-02).

An examination of the body revealed traces of blood on the man’s face. A forensic examination has been ordered.

As a result of a comprehensive investigation and based on sufficient evidence gathered during the preliminary inquiry, it has been established that the crime was committed by the victim's 38-year-old younger brother, who had a prior criminal record.

It was found that the brothers had argued, and the 38-year-old beat his older brother, inflicting injuries that ultimately led to his death.

The 38-year-old has been taken into custody by the police department of Ashtarak. He has been arrested, and the circumstances are being clarified during the investigation.
