Son of Ararat Governor Replaces Him
The government dismissed the Governor of Ararat, Razmik Tevanyan, during its meeting today, January 13. In another decision, the new governor of Ararat has been appointed as Sedrak Tevanyan, the son of the former governor. After the decision was made, Sedrak Tevanyan expressed, 'I thank you for your trust. I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will fulfill all the hopes of our people.'
It is noteworthy that Sedrak Tevanyan had resigned from his mandate on January 4. Razmik Tevanyan was appointed as governor on December 10, 2020, and later resigned on September 9, 2021, only to withdraw his resignation a few days later.
