Major Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: Some Citizens Attempt to Create a Dispute

Today, on January 13, an accident occurred in Kotayk Province at approximately 11:00 AM. On the Yerevan-Sevan highway near "Ardzvi T'ver," cars driven by 20-year-old Arman Tovmasyan from Kotayk Province, 48-year-old Vachik Hakobyan from Yerevan driving an Opel Vectra, and 76-year-old Grigor Grigoryan from Yerevan driving a Nissan X-Trail collided.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, preliminary information indicates that fortunately, there were no injuries. The photojournalist notes that citizens who arrived at the scene were attempting to provoke a dispute between the drivers of the Infiniti and Nissan X-Trail vehicles, showing disrespect towards each other and pulling at each other; however, the situation was mitigated by the road police.
