Shooting at a Brewery in Yerevan: Waitress Hospitalized with Gunshot Wounds
On January 11, a shooting occurred in Yerevan. Around 23:40, the police received a report from the Armenia Medical Center stating that a citizen had been transported to their facility with a diagnosis of a 'gunshot wound' by paramedics from the city's emergency services.
According to reports from the scene, law enforcement officials including Arthur Zakaryan, the deputy head of the Yerevan police administration, Hovhannes Aristakesyan, head of the criminal investigation department, and Andranik Shahbazyan, head of the Mashtots police division, arrived quickly.
Doctors informed the police that the victim was unable to provide any explanation regarding the incident. Subsequent investigations revealed that the injured individual was 40-year-old Gayane M., a resident of Yerevan, who was transported from a brewery located on Rishtuni Street.
While doctors fought for the victim's life, police discovered one 7.62 mm caliber cartridge, one bullet, and traces of blood at the scene. Reports indicate that following extensive operational and investigative efforts, police and investigators have identified a suspected assailant.
