Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

The road from Amberd Fortress to Kary Lake in the Aragatsotn region is closed. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers.

In the Saravan-Zanger section, in the Aragatsotn region (except for the town of Ashtarak), and the Gyumri-Bavra road in the Shirak region, there are patches of black ice.

The Yerevan-Sevan road and in the Talin region of Aragatsotn, near Ashtarak, fog has been reported.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
