Azerbaijan is Acting More and More Impudently: What Should Armenia Do? Hovhannisyan

Military expert Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: Azerbaijan is acting more and more impudently. Guided by the principle that there is no demarcation or delimitation, it presumes the right to defiantly argue that the land it occupies is not Armenian, but Azerbaijani. In other words, it forcibly settles in and then questions the grounds for claiming that the territory is Armenian while asserting that it is Azerbaijani. This is a destructive policy that incites clashes.

Azerbaijan is confident that in the event of a confrontation, it will succeed again with Turkey's assistance. What should Armenia do? First, it should initiate processes against Azerbaijan in international platforms, as there are numerous grounds for this. For example, this case can be entrusted to the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia. It is crucial to start working seriously with strategic partners to determine if they stand with us or primarily pursue their own interests. If they are with us, then actions must be taken; if their interests are primary, then new strategic partners should be sought without fear of that idea.

Thirdly, all types of expenditures should be reduced and redirected to the military budget. We have already lost one year, but it is not too late; we can restore and even exceed our military potential in just two years.
