Arthur Mkrtchyan Who Died Yesterday Was from Gyumri

Arthur Artjom Mkrtchyan, who was killed on January 11 as a result of an Azerbaijani provocation, was from the city of Gyumri in the Shirak region. He had been drafted into the army three months ago and was living with his parents, sister, and brother. His father is a contract serviceman.

It is reported that on January 11, as a result of provocations carried out by Azerbaijani units in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, two servicemen of the Armenian Ministry of Defense's N unit were killed: Private Arthur Artjom Mkrtchyan (born 2002) and Junior Sergeant Rudik Rafik Gharybyan (born 2002).
